Producer - Director
Katie is working regularly as a Director and Producer, currently working on a variety of productions specialising in comedy and musical theatre. he started her career in corporate short films, working alongside production companies such as 1721 Studio, Buzzword Creative and Millstream Productions as well as securing her own independent clients. Katie's work has received a variety of nominations and awards; most recently winning the DEI Charity Film Award at The Big Syn Film Awards for short film ‘The Unseen Women’ for Portsmouth City of Sanctuary.
Recently Katie produced two premiere’s during Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025, The Queen Is Mad (A new musical by written by 2024 Stiles & Drewe Best New Song Prize finalists, Amy Clare Tasker and Tom James McGrath) as well as Quirks & Foibles debut live comedy show Sketch Show Bingo!โโ The Queen is Mad received the Special Commendation Award for Musical Theatre Review's Best Musical Award with Edinburgh editor Fiona Orr who led the team of judges commenting: “This is a beautiful story, well told, with simple, effective staging keeping the narrative clear and outstanding performances. Book, music and lyrics are superbly crafted and deserve to be highlighted.”

In 2024, Katie produced new musical 'Wallis' from BramwellBrand Productions, gaining 4* & 5* reviews at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as winning the Best Musical in the Ed Fringe Derek Awards. The musical then debuted in London at The Other Palace directly after their Ed Fringe run.
With a variety of theatrical & screen experience under her belt, Katie is able to connect different styles of arts & media to create exciting new projects for any subject. She has collaborated on films for exhibitions within The Novium Museum, films for businesses as well as working with companies such as the Naval Children's Charity, BramwellBrand Musicals, The Monte San Martino Trust and Buzzword Creative.

One of the most fulfilling projects of 2021, was working as Creative Director on Series 2 of The Novium Museums’ ‘Virtual Field Trips’ for Schools. A project which was shortlisted for the Arts Council's Digital Culture Awards 2021 and shortlisted for the 2022 Museum & Heritage Awards Best Learning programme. Katie’s role as Creative Director included Casting, Directing, Script Writing and overseeing creative elements of production working alongside Millstream Productions
